International General Insurance
We would like to thank International General Insurance (IGI) for their recent donation to the Insurance Museum. IGI has been a long-time supporter of the IM having made multi-year donations over the past three years. With their financial support, we have been able to develop our tours and webinars and push forward our plans to expand the IM’s work. Without such donations we would not be able to achieve our ambitions.
Aaida Abu Jaber, Assistant Vice President – PR & Marketing, said:
“IGI is delighted to continue its support of the Insurance Museum Project. As a company, we feel our responsibility extends beyond the business to our communities. We believe that this initiative will greatly enhance appreciation of our industry and its versatility.”
Reg Brown, Chairman of the Insurance Museum said:
“We are delighted that IGI continue their support for the Insurance Museum, and we look forward to our future relationship with them.”
Crawford & Company
Crawford & Company have also made a recent multi-year donation to the IM. We run tours and presentations about the history of insurance in the City of London for the Crawford Academy. It is one of the benefits of being an IM Corporate Member. We meet many of their colleagues and clients who visit their offices on Fenchurch Street. Again, their donation then supports much of our core work and supports the future resilience for the Insurance Museum. Many thanks to Crawford & Company for their continued financial support.
Corporate Membership
If your company may be interested in becoming a Corporate Member of the Insurance Museum, then please contact Howard Benge, Insurance Museum Director, director@insurancemuseum.uk. In return for a financial donation, you will receive a number of benefits including tours of the London Insurance District and webinars on the history of insurance, which is great for staff wellbeing and unstructured CPD.
Individual Membership
Alternatively, if you would like to support the IM financially on an individual basis, you can join as a Founding Member. For only £50 per year (£40 if you are a member of the CII), you will get a bi-yearly newsletter as well as access to our history articles on the objects of the insurance museum and insurance history, which we regularly update. The more IM Members we have, the more resilient the Museum will become to deliver its aims of telling the story of insurance past, present and future.
