The Insurance Museum has an ongoing programme of tours and events. Here are some we are running over the next month:
- Tour of the Insurance District, 7pm, Tuesday 6th October. Tour of the City’s Insurance District hosted by Insurance Museum and Indico Data · Luma
- Museum Late at the Bank of England Museum. 5.15pm to 8pm, Thursday 15th October. After the Fire: a Museum late | Bank of England – the UK’s central bank
- Barbon and the First Fire Insurance, a talk at Guildhall Library. Howard Benge is giving a talk on Dr Nicholas Barbon, the founder of the first fire insurance company. 2pm, Thursday 22 October.
- Half Term Storytelling. The Insurance Museum will host storytelling sessions for our exhibition, After the Fire. Learn about Thomas Bowery, the Great Fire of London and what pirates have to do with insurance. Recommended ages 7 – 11. Booking Recommended.
