Following consultation with the market to gather feedback and input on shaping the Insurance Museum proposition, we have received overwhelming support from the majority of those that we have consulted, including leading broking, underwriting, actuarial and legal firms as well the ABI, MGAA, LMA, IUA, City of London Corporation, AIRMIC, CII.
Support has been expressed by younger members of the market, individual practitioners, educational organisations and the museum community. Based on our feedback and early pledges of support we believe that the Insurance Museum would be a valuable forum for the future development of the insurance profession.
As you may be aware, the recommended next step is to raise funds (£3m) for the establishment (for 3-4 years) of a pop-up museum in London EC3. This phase will include content creation and audience group testing, as well as ongoing fundraising, planning and development for the permanent world-class visitor venue.
To do this, our immediate requirement is to raise money to support the ongoing fundraising campaign activity and project management for the next 6 month period. We propose to achieve this through an ‘attractive’ sponsorship package, including the option to join the IM steering group and be featured in all campaign activity and publicity.
For full details, please download our sponsorship pdf here or email nicola.manning@oceanbarefoot.com, as we’d value your involvement and support for this key stage of the project.
